Our journey began on the 29th of November, which also happens to be my birthday. Stijn had been planning this trip for months, and he surprised me with a stay at the luxurious 5-star Brach Hotel. The staff of the hotel had helped him prepare the rooftop for the occasion and even brought out a cake and champagne to celebrate. It was a moment I will never forget, and I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness and thoughtfulness.
