I always adore visiting Bali, with its vibrant people, places and experiences. This time we stayed at Dekuta Hotel which is situated in one of Bali’s most lively regions – the Poppies Lane district in Kuta.
The hotel is incredibly close to Kuta Beach – a mere 100m stroll away! This makes it super convenient for a morning swim or an afternoon wandering along the pristine sand. We were excited to discover that there’s a great market close by as well. We spent a wonderful afternoon exploring the unique stalls and came away with some souvenirs and some lovely Balinese bags. In the evenings, a fun night out is just around the corner! The nightlife in Kuta is amazing, with the hotel being located nearby to some of my favorite bars.
Dekuta Hotel’s pool was undoubtedly a lifesaver with the hot Balinese climate. We were lucky enough to have a room right in front of the swimming pool, giving us quick and easy access to dive in when we were feeling warm! I definitely spent quite a bit of time floating across the cool water, loving every second of my refreshing swims.
Our deluxe room was decked out with a comfortable king bed, homey wooden furnishings, and a delightful little terrace which led to the pool.
The complimentary late check-out times are worth raving about. You only need to head out at 2pm which is perfect for those who like to sleep in and not have to rush out the door on your last day there.
We couldn’t resist having almost all our meals at Nebula Kuta, a fantastic restaurant featuring mouth-watering dishes in a gorgeous setting. Each day began with a perfect breakfast consisting of a bowl of granola, dragon fruit, coco, banana, strawberry, as well as large cups of freshly squeezed orange juice and my special morning coffee.
At night, we savored their selection of deliciously cooling cocktails. While I ordered some non-alcoholic ones, my friend tried some of the alcoholic ones. We’re definitely fans!
We also had the opportunity to visit Nebula Petitenget, where we enjoyed a fabulous brunch.
Our brunch tasting board was filled with multigrain bread, avocado smash, English spinach, red radish, corn, smoothie bowls, watermelon juice and even a big green vegan bowl. My mouth waters again just thinking back to this… We definitely recommend staying at Dekuta Hotel if you’re passing through Kuta in Bali. You won’t be disappointed!
