Hotel Concortel

Indulging in Parisian elegance

I’ve heard from other travellers that when they’re visiting Paris, Hotel Concortel is one that they keep returning to…

It always lives up to its expectations and provides a reliable and tranquil stay in the city. So I decided to check it out!

It’s in a ideal location for those wishing to explore Paris, as it’s situated a stone’s throw away from popular landmarks including Madeleine, Palais Garnier, and the world-famous Louvre museum. Also, for those who enjoy upmarket shopping experiences, then you’ll love how close it is to Galeries Lafayette.

Chic decor and modern vibes

As soon as I arrived, friendly staff members welcomed me through the elegantly refined entrance to be checked in. Whatever I needed, they generously provided with a smile. All the rooms and suites are individualized with different colour themes, from vibrant yellow to deep red. This personalisation makes all visitors feel right at home, no matter where they’re staying.

I stayed in the luxury suite, which featured an array of monochrome tones. I actually found that the muted greys gave my room a calming vibe, which is exactly the thing I needed by the end of busy days exploring the city! High-end furnishings filled the room, including a super comfortable king-sized bed.

Gorgeous city sights

Stepping outside onto my extended, private balcony, I enjoyed gazing down at the bustling street below. It was an excellent vantage point to see right across the rooftops. Despite being in the heart of the city, the delicate flowers and greenery on my balcony complemented the urban surroundings perfectly.

Mouth-watering dining experiences, for vegans!

Something I’ve definitely noticed over the years as an avid traveller, is that it can be a challenge to find excellent cafes that specialize in vegan dining. However, this certainly wasn’t the case in Paris! I was delighted to discover many tasty treats along the surrounding lanes.

These are my favourite cafes and restaurants for any vegan traveller who loves good, wholesome food!

1.Cafe Mareva

As soon as I heard about its focus is on healthy (and mostly gluten and dairy free) food as well as really good coffee, I knew this would be the place for me!

With an assortment of both savoury and sweet items on the menu, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Last time I tried their Avocado toast (Toasted bread with guacamole and poached egg) + Chocolate delight dessert, and my friend ordered Avocado waffle(Sweet potato based waffle, guacamole, poached egg)+ Lemon meringue tart.  It was super tasty!

This is a wonderful little spot in Paris with coffee to die for! You have to go for brunch here and sample their fresh and organic ingredients. The staff are also fluent in English which is a great advantage for international travelers. We had a nice healthy brunch there (falafel salad +coffee):

4.Passager Cafe

This cafe’s rustic atmosphere is so cute! Despite being a tiny place (you almost don’t notice it’s there when walking past!), it’s full of personality and great coffee. I enjoyed dropping by here for a quick bite, and would recommend you do the same if you’re nearby!

4.Fragments

This trendy cafe quickly gets fully booked, and I can understand why! As one of the most popular new cafes in Paris, it boasts delicious breakfast items perfect for any morning, all seasons of the year. I’d recommend avoiding peak time, when it’s a little less busy.

5. Season Paris

Relax in their gorgeous wicker chairs and sip on a perfectly brewed coffee. It’s quite modern, and you can always spot people Instagramming their aesthetically arranged breakfast and lunch items! It’s not all looks though, as the food was just as good.
