From the moment we stepped into this hotel, we knew it was a dream come true. You truly feel as though you’re in a Moroccan palace; the staff make you feel like royalty.

It goes without saying that the service at a 5-star luxury hotel like La Sultana Marrakech is impeccable. From the moment I walked through the entrance I felt a warmth, kindness, and attentiveness, which we realized that despite being widely traveled, we had never experienced to this extent before. The staff promptly settled us in and welcomed us with traditional sweets and, of course, Moroccan mint tea. The whole team was genuinely so nice, truly helpful, and very professional. One of the best parts of our trip was breakfast on the rooftop. This was the best breakfast we had in Morocco by far. I loved it and it was worth waking up in time for, which I don’t usually say. I particularly liked cheese and chia pudding for breakfast. The homemade pastries were great too.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and well situated. You get the authentic atmosphere from its location in the middle of old town Marrakesh. It’s a 15-minute walk from Jemaa el Fnaa square.

This enchanting place is full of ambiance and wonder. We were overwhelmed at how incredible every single detail was. There are lots of nice little corners to hang out in, and amazing pools where we escaped the chaos of Marrakesh. It was so delightful in the heat of Morocco!

We spent our stay in the Tiger room. This great big room also has a very nice bathroom. It turns out that I actually like taking baths! I loved relaxing in the tub here after long days of shopping and haggling in the markets. Our bedroom really matched the historical design and architecture. It was aesthetically exquisite as well as spacious and comfortable. It was maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.

All in all, my visit to La Sultana opened my eyes and gave me a taste of a new world of design, style, and breathtaking luxury. If you’re looking for a place to awaken the senses, push boundaries and give you a true appreciation for design, Marrakesh has it all and La Sultana exhibits the very best of it.

Frankly speaking, I wish there was a chance to give this a 6th star because this hotel deserves it.
