This artsy hotel sure is easy on jet-lagged eyes; after all of our trips, we felt so welcomed and relaxed the moment we set foot into the reception area after meeting the friendly staff.

This beautiful hotel has just 12 rooms, and each one is dedicated to a famous musician. That was unusual for me because I’m used to staying in hotel chains where all the rooms are numbered.

This hotel was recommended to us by a local Palma friend that has great up-to-date knowledge about the hotel industry. That being said, I knew we were in good hands. As we arrived, we noticed that the hotel was in front of a beautiful cathedral and that it seemed like an ordinary local house. Upon entering the hotel, I began to admire the combination of old fashion architecture, which I fell in love with.

After hitting the ground running and wandering through the streets of Palma, I can safely say that I have found the ideal hotel for travelers who would prefer staying away from the touristy part of the city while still being centrally located!

The breakfast buffet at Café Ricks was a real treat and included everything anyone could ever want. Assorted cheeses, meat, bread, and pastries, along with bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereals, freshly squeezed orange juice, and more varieties of fresh and dried fruit then you could possibly imagine. What a wonderful start to each day, especially if it’s a late breakfast.

Spain really knows how to do killer rooftop views, and Palacio’s rooftop bar and the view is no exception! If you want to experience this paradise above the city, it can be all yours,especially if you book out the two-level Penthouse Suite. Super romantic, and photogenic!

If you like to travel during the off-season, there are several options on how to entertain yourself while at hotel. My favorite place there is Spa & Wellness center, which is equipped with the latest facilities. We spent our evenings enjoying massages and sitting in the sauna. What could be better than a relaxing and peaceful holiday?

Let’s not forget about the exceptional service in the hotel. Everybody I met there was really polite and quite friendly, from the reception to the staff at the breakfast buffet. Privacy and security are crucial to the hotel, so they care about these points a lot.

All in all, Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is one of those places where everything is absolutely amazing. Starting with the front office staff giving a warm welcome to the building itself with its beautiful, artistic style. The location could not be better, in the middle of the old city but totally quiet. I can’t wait to visit again.
