Pure Salt Port Adriano

Pure Salt Port Adriano was the reason I went to Palma de Mallorca. When I first saw it (a drop dead gorgeous hotel located in the serene, exclusive area of Calvià, Mallorca), it was love at first sight. We just had to stay there. And so we did…

The whole hotel is Instagrammable, and so are the rooms. The suit I’d pick as the most beautiful is the one on the second floor. With art-inspired décor and the words of Van Gogh written on the wall, your Instagram feed will soon fill up, and that’s even before you explore the rest of the hotel! This junior suite comes with a sea view in addition to the soundproof windows.

As with all the rooms in this hotel, the suite bathroom includes all the necessary amenities such as an open bath, a jacuzzi with an integrated TV, and large amounts of shower gel and shampoo by Bulgary. Our room came with a private terrace overlooking the sea. This is the perfect place to chill out after a day exploring Mallorca.

Other rooms offer a sea view as well. Whichever room you choose, when you close the doors and windows, they become soundproof.  For your room and balcony requirements, I recommend you view the “Rooms&Suites”page on their website.  They’ll be happy to assist you and help select the best room for you.

Outside was green and leafy, with a lot of pools that made me instantly and irrevocably falling love with Pure Salt the first time I laid eyes on it. My favorite views were from the swimming pool with a lot of private are as overlooking the sea.

Not to mention that privacy is front and center at this adults-only hotel, and the resort itself retains a quiet, exclusive feel. Pure Salt has put the abundance of space in their resort to fantastic use, creating plenty of spaces to unwind and chill out in complete peace and quiet.

Breakfast is included with your stay, and it’s very delicious.  You receive a selection of fresh bread, salads, cold meats, cheese, honey, eggs, sweets, and so much more. If my visit to Pure Salt was all about relaxation and restoration, the pinnacle of this was my visit to the spa. In the mood for a total bliss-out, I indulged in a deep, full body massage to really get rid of the last lingering stresses and muscle aches from the weeks before my trip. It hen finished my day relaxing in a soothing sauna, a Turkish bath, sensational shower, and a heated indoor pool.

One of the most common questions you ask when visiting a hotel is,“Where is there a good restaurant nearby?”  The answer to that question at Hotel Pure Salt Port Adriano is the Adriana Restaurant where you’ll find a wide variety of local and western dishes on the menu. I highly recommend this gastronomic experience with a dedicated wine selection.

The setting is as rich and elegant as the rest of the hotel, and I loved the super airy dining area with outdoor views. The dinner menu was incredible! There were ten dishes in total.

Highlights included salmon tartar with mahon cheese, mustard, and capers; baked seabass with garlic, fresh herbs, and olives salt, accompanied by mashed carrots and crispy vegetables; and finally, flame-cooked hake with leek cream and seaweed pralines.

Moreover, our friendly server knew the ins-and-outs of every dish by heart. He was on hand for some amazing recommendations and helped us to enjoy some of the most quintessential dishes. And as for the food itself – I really can’t gush enough about it. Just incredible! Everything about this place is exquisite. The suite, the food, the setting, and the thoughtful service. But the best thing is to see and experience it yourself. Just make sure you book your room well in advance. That’s all you need to do.
