As you may have already known, this past weekend I stayed in Mallorca at Hotel Sentido. It was such a nice, quick holiday that had not been planned at all but turned out to be great.Today,I’m sharing my full hotel review with you guys, and I promise that you won’t be disappointed.
You should consider Sentido Punta del Mar if you want to stay in a modern, colorful, and Instagrammable hotel that hasthe best views. For the best room rates, visit their website or Tripadvisor.
Our room, the Junior Suite Superior Sea View, was an enormously light and airy affair with a glorious views of the sea and the pool from the terrace. Also, aspacious living area is ideal if you need real space to relax and feel at home.
With calming shades of pastel blues and ivories, our room maximised the generous amounts of daylight streaming through the large windows. Not to mention the fact that theoveralldecor is tastefully understated. Nothing seems too fussy or showy – just the perfect level of elegance and luxury mixed with comfort to create theperfect home away from home.
All that extends to the hotel’s facilities – from the beautiful restaurant setting (more on that later) to the wellness areas. The spa at Sentido Hotel isamong the best I havevisited in Spain, and it’s easy to see why.
A tranquil and serene setting with top-notch facilities and a fab menu of treatment options make it the ideal place to unwind after a busy day in Palma de Mallorca. But it’s the indoor pool that steals the show. Open until 8pm, the pool has a lot of spa features and is a seriously impressive setting.
The clever layout also creates a wonderful sense of quiet; the further you delve in to the hotel, the more cut off from the outside world you seem to be. Not that it needs it; situated on a quiet road in the already quiet Santa Ponsa (a lovely town in the southeast of Mallorca), Hotel Sentido is quiet, calm, and peaceful – the perfect place to unwind but still be connected to the buzz and nightlife of the city. It’s also just aone minute walk from the bay tothe best local beach.
For those who can’t face the walk all the way to the beach, the hotel’s pool is clean and, at least while I was there, usually empty. There are also dozens of nooks and crannies to relax in around the hotel; hidden terraces like the one outside my room’s front door, plus several beautiful lounges – all decked out in light furnishings with pretty, artistic details.
Also, the same magnificent view was from the breakfast room, where in the morning you could enjoy your coffee with prosecco and delicious puffy pancakes.
That’s what I had during our staythere, but they have one of the most varied breakfasts, suitable foreveryone’s taste. We had an all-inclusive breakfast and enjoyed a huge selection of main dishes and pastries, both local and international, all in such perfectly-sized portionssothat I was happily able to try more than one every day.
Not to mention there was a prefect and spacious gym where I trained every morning and a big terrace where I practiced yoga in the evening. Honestly, it was one of the biggest gyms I had ever seen in hotels. All the machines are new and work well. So I had no excuses to work out.
Overall, our stay at Sentido was very memorable and one we plan to do again. I love a luxury feel and this definitely lived up to my expectations. From the lovely, fun staff to the amenities and location, Sentido is worth it.
