Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of escaping to Paris for a girls’weekend. And boy, was it a much-needed girls’weekend. I’ll be covering more of our shenanigans in the nearby future, but for today I wanted to take you on a tour of our lovely hotel, the Villa Daubenton by Happy Culture.

I haven’t stayed at this hotel before, but I’ve seen a lot of pictures taken by other bloggers. While the rooms and lobby are very impressive, what sells this spot for me is the location. It’s located in in the heart of the lively and trendy Latin Quarter, within easy walking distance of of the Panthéon and Notre Dame Cathedral. The hotel is also not far from the metro at Centre Daubenton, making it easy to get around Paris and back again.

Although there were two of us traveling, we booked a spacious apartmentmeant for four. It comprised of a double room, a lounge with a sofa bed,  a bathroom, and an equipped kitchen. Our apartment was a real paradise for women: it was totally pink with nice golden and beige details.

We had a terrace with a view to the courtyard where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and eating croissaints. We also had a chance to check out other rooms with a nice view of the street. I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Paris.

Every morning for breakfast, two bags were served at our door with an amazing selection of savory foods and pastries. Everything tasted so fresh and was clearly made with a lot of care.

I didn’t encounter any setbacks during my stay at Villa Daubenton. The lobby service was friendly, the staff was helpful,and everything went according to plan. If you’re looking for convenience, design,and a good room size in terms of accommodations in Paris then I highly recommend checking out Villa Daubenton.

To conclude, we couldn’t rave about it enough to our friends,andwewould recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a budget location or a last minute trip. I’d like to say thank you to Sandra Verger and her team for exceptional service,awarm welcome, and a very comfortable stay!
