To celebrate my and my friend’s birthday, we ventured to South East Asia to visit the beautiful Indonesian island Bali. To our sheer delight, our vacation there turned out to be totally divine!

Throughout my travels in Bali, there’s one place which truly captured my heart from the moment I set eyes on it. Desa Visesa Ubud – uniting the magic of traditional Balinese culture with the comforts of a wonderful residence.

Throughout my life, I’ve been privileged to stay at so many beautiful and stunning hotels in countries all over the world. This has given me a unique insight into different types of accommodation, whether it be amongst snowy mountains or on tropical beaches.

For the final two days of our Bali holiday, we chose to stay at The Pavilions – an exquisite hotel in a quiet area called Sanur. It ended up being one of our favourite stays in Bali!

I always adore visiting Bali, with its vibrant people, places and experiences. This time we stayed at Dekuta Hotel which is situated in one of Bali’s most lively regions – the Poppies Lane district in Kuta.
